Overview

Solid pinion spacers prevent loosening of the gear setup preload. Originally designed for older Toyota applications, Toyota stopped using them decades ago. Solid spacer and shims replace the crush sleeve. It takes a little longer to set up but you won't have to keep retorque the pinion nut down the road. Trail-Gear makes an appropriate solid pinion spacer for many popular Toyota truck axles found on Hilux, Pickup, 4Runner, and Tacoma. Available options:
