The Tacoma's plastic factory gas tank cover is not meant to protect the vehicle from aggressive off-road use. Your fuel tank is a critical component that deserves its own armor. All-Pro's 16-Present Toyota Tacoma Gas Tank Skid Plate will prevent you from getting stranded by tank puncture from sharp rocks. Made from one piece of CNC laser cut and precision brake-formed 3/16 inch plate steel, our steel skid plate is ready for the toughest trails. Drain holes facilitate easy cleaning while reducing overall weight. Skid plate installation is easy, utilizing factory bolt locations. Note: Fits short bed only.- 3/16 inch Steel Main Skid
