Toyota 84-95 2WD Balljoint Single Shock
The TOTAL CHAOS ball joint long travel 2wd kit provides superior strength and offers set up options to customize your rig. This package includes everything you need to install the kit. Our bolt on strut frame includes mounting hardware and skid plate tabs. Its design also provides the most cross member ground clearance on the market with added strength to the front frame section. Some drilling is required to install. The 4130 chromoly 3" extended upper and lower control arms bolt to the factory mounting locations and allow easy re-alignment. Vehicle track width will increase 6", fiberglass fenders must be installed. This kit is designed to reuse factory upper and lower ball joints and cycles 11" of wheel travel. 84-88 trucks must upgrade to 89-95 lower ball joints. Boxed lower control arms include internal gussets to reinforce the optional single 2.5 or dual 2.0 lower shock tabs. 8" or 10" travel shocks are recommended to be installed. A coil over conversion is optional, but a custom upper shock mount must be fabricated. TC highly recommends you install our billet cross shafts with any 2wd Toyota long travel kit to upgrade the OEM weak link. Add the heim joint tie rod steering kit to replace worn factory components or upgrade component longevity. 84-88 trucks require the installation of a 2-3" body lift to clear a 31x10.5 tire.
