RIVER SHIVER - 2007
BCC sponsored the Rocky Mountain River Shiver event, held near Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The event is put on by the Rocky Mountain Land Cruiser Association (RMLCA)

The Rocky Mountain River Shiver is a small event and it is small by our choice. Even when wheeling with a group of locals, the weather and conditions can often turn a simple day of playing in the snow, into a long day.
We'll be wheeling in Alberta, where it's often said "if you don't like the weather, wait fifteen minutes and it'll change." So it's important to be flexible in regards to the changing conditions. A smaller, closer-knit group of people will allow for this to happen more readily than a larger, more independent group of wheelers.
